I’ll be brief, but I want to remind everyone that tonight, beginning at 6:30 PM, our Transportation & Public Safety Committee will meet. There are a few interesting items on the agenda, including an update from DOT on Open Streets, as well as a resolution from Resilient Red Hook. Also, and it’s happening rain or shine to mark the 8th anniversary of Sandy, a Climate Justice March will be held in place of the Barnacle Parade.

Last but not least, a big thank you to Superintendent Anita Skop for participating in last night’s Youth Human Services and Education Committee meeting.
