The Covid-19 seven-day positivity rate is now 4.14, and the daily rate is

at 5.72 percent. So it makes sense that the Governor is saying we may hit "PAUSE" again, and the city's health commissioner, Dr. Dave Chokshi, issued a new advisory. The advisory states that older adults and those with conditions that put them at high risk for COVID-related illness stay at home and limit all activities except for medical or essential purposes.

We are pleased to provide forums where our wise elders still fully participate. Virtual meetings are the place to be. For example, tonight, the Gowanus CAG meets, and tomorrow we've got a busy night. Under the CB6 umbrella, we're a Zoom conduit for the Department of City Planning's next pre-certification meeting and presentation, which will focus on Gowanus infrastructure. Unfortunately, at the same time, the Parks Department and & EPA will be giving an update on the remediation of the Red Hook ball field while the 76th Precinct Community Council, chaired by our very own Jerry Armer, will meet at 7:30 pm.

Fortunately, in this modern world, you can "attend" all three without leaving your home. Another possibly good aspect is that by receiving this newsletter, you're guaranteed I'll share any information I get with you.
