Hopefully, we’ve overprepared, personally and as a city, as this is undoubtedly the kind of thing where you’d rather be safe than sorry. The latest forecast from the National Weather Service predicts the storm will bring heavy snow of between 8 and 14 inches and wind gusts up to 45 mph. A winter storm warning takes effect today, Wed, Dec 16th, at 2 p.m. and will remain in place until tomorrow, Thurs, Dec 17th, at 1 p.m.
