I hope this email finds you well as we kick off a Thursday that should see some “messy but manageable” snow. In the hopes of making it more manageable, Alternate Side Parking is suspended through Saturday. During this time, meters will remain in effect. Trash & recycling pickups are delayed. If there are any changes or updates on such matters, I'll let everyone know.

As mentioned previously, at 9 AM today, Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon hosts her first ``Java with Jo Anne” of 2021 via zoom. Tomorrow, 10 AM, The Brooklyn Waterfront Research Center is hosting an online panel titled “Staying Afloat during COVID-19”. Two of those panelists are prominent members of our community and friends to CB6, Carolina Salguero of Portside NY and David Sharps of the Waterfront museum. If you have a chance, while not needing to move your car, try tuning in.

Lastly, one week from today, at 6:30 pm,  our Landmarks / Land Use Committee will meet to review a BSA application to construct a 15 story mixed-use building at 145 Wolcott Street in Red Hook. Over 100 people have already registered, so clearly, it's the place to be, but don't forget that, earlier next week, EWCDH meets on Monday.
