I hope this email finds you well and warm as we head into the weekend after some more snow. As mentioned previously, this coming week, we'll hold two CB6 committee meetings via zoom.

The first of those is an EWCDH committee meeting on Monday, Feb 22nd, at 6:30 PM. The  agenda will feature a discussion with Congresswoman Velasquez’s office about the Public Housing Emergency Response Act, and you may register here. Three nights later, on Thursday, Feb 25th, our Landmarks/ Land Use Committee will meet and review an application to the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) for 145 Wolcott Street in Red Hook. In the most simplified sense, it’s an application to permit a 14-story mixed-use (office, light manufacturing, residential) building. If you'd like to know more, I’d suggest registering for the meeting.

Before bidding you farewell I’d like to congratulate, and welcome, Vocal NY on their new permanent home in CB6 at 300 Douglass Street. You may recall over the summer we wrote to the Council with regards to funding that was  allocated for this location. 

On that note, I’ll stop being vocal and recommend checking out the items below, staying safe and having a good weekend.
