Whether or not one celebrates, I’d recommend grabbing a “San Giuseppe ”at one of the district’s great pastry shops (4 of which are on this “Best of Brooklyn” list). For those keeping score at home, I’m partial to Court Pastry.
Anyway, last night our Transportation & Public Safety Committee met. If you weren’t able to Zoom with them or want to relive it, you’re able to relive the magic on Youtube or read through DOT’s CitiBike presentation. It wasn’t a review item, but if you have concerns or questions about Citibike, as Transportation Chair Eric McClure noted, let DOT know and feel free to copy us. Big thanks to Captain Souffrant and Emily Riquelme, and her colleagues from DOT that joining us last night.
As always, our community will be busy through the weekend and the upcoming work week. That includes two CB6 committee meetings, Permits & Licenses on Monday, Landmarks/ Land Use on Thursday.
On that note, I’ll stop and recommend scrolling down for more events and more information. So stay safe, get vaccinated when you can, and have a good weekend.
