Tomorrow, Thursday, April 22, there will be a lot going on related to Earth Day. Coincidentally our Landmarks/Land Use Committee meets at 6:30 pm. The North Flatbush BID hosts an Earth Day Celebration at the 6th Avenue Triangle from 4 until 8 pm, and open space/parks advocacy groups hold a Borough President Candidates Forum.

Speaking of candidate forums, we are co-sponsoring a non-partisan candidates forum held at the Old Stone House on May 23rd at 5 PM for candidates in the 39th City Council District. Our co-sponsors are the Park Slope Civic CouncilPark Slope Neighbors, Park Slope Parents, the 5th Avenue BID, and our host, as mentioned above, the Old Stone House

On that note, I’ll stop and recommend you read on below or read some of the lengthy Gowanus DEIS, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
