I’m happy to report that Covid-19 numbers are still looking as good as they have in months. However, while we’ve got millions vaccinated, there are still millions of our fellow New Yorkers who have not been vaccinated yet.
I’m happy to report that Covid-19 numbers are still looking as good as they have in months. However, while we’ve got millions vaccinated, there are still millions of our fellow New Yorkers who have not been vaccinated yet. So we’ve got to be safe as I don't think anyone wants to go back to lockdowns and more deaths than we can bear. If you’re among the millions yet to receive a vaccine, you can get one ASAP, but if you still have questions, read up on some of the facts.
Moving to the CB6 universe last night, as previewed, we had our second CB6 meeting of the week with our Parks Committee meeting via zoom. The focus was a follow-up with the City’s Parks Department following the district-wide parks tours Committee Chair Glenn Kelly led earlier this month. If you missed the meeting or want to relive it, you can watch it here on Youtube.
Suppose 2 CB6 meetings in a week is part of what makes a week great. If so, you’re in luck because we’ve got two meetings next week too. On Monday, May 24th, Permits & Licences meets while Landmarks/ Land Use meets on Thursday, May 27th. Both will take place over zoom and begin at 630 PM.
However, before either of those meetings, on Sunday, May 23rd, from 5 until 630 PM, at the Old Stone House, we’re co-sponsoring a 39th Council District Forum.
I’d recommend checking out all of those, as well as reading below my signature but most importantly, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your Thursday.
