I’ll be brief but begin by congratulating Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul as she will become the first woman governor of New York State. I'd have preferred this to have happened far earlier in our state's history and through an election.

I’ll be brief but begin by congratulating Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul as she will become the first woman governor of New York State. I'd have preferred this to have happened far earlier in our state's history and through an election. As opposed to happening due to succession through a resignation occasioned by a detailed and damning report of misconduct that could potentially be leading to criminal culpability for our current Governor. 

A heat advisory is in effect and as such cooling centers are open. If you’re going to a cooling center or haven’t been vaccinated against COVID-19, please do so ASAP and get 100 bucks.
