I hope this email finds you well as we continue to recuperate from Ida’s impact and head into the unofficial, final summer weekend. Also, for all who celebrate Rosh Hashanah, may you have a happy new year.

Many will be out of town this weekend, but there are plenty of things to do if you’re not among them. For example, later today, there is a 90s themed block party in Red Hook, and through the weekend, you’ll find art exhibits, poetry and more on both the east and west sides of the Gowanus canal.
On a less fun note, please report damages and claims to the City ASAP. Also, please be aware that Alternate Side Parking is suspended until this coming Wednesday, September 8th, and that there is no trash or recycling pickup on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th.
