I hope this email finds you well on this once wet Thursday, the 20th day of January. Id like to briefly mention three items.

I hope this email finds you well on this once wet Thursday, the 20th day of January. Id like to briefly mention three items.

First, CB6 has long been on the record in support of ferry service operating from Red Hook to and from Governors Island all week and all year. I mention this because that will no longer be our position but the reality beginning Monday, January 24th.

Secondly, I’d like to remind you that one week from tonight, Thursday, January 27th, our Landmarks/Land Use committee meets beginning at 6:30 PM. The agenda will consist of 2 Landmark items; one at 250 Clinton Street in the Cobble Hill Historic District and another at 305 President Street in the Carroll Gardens Historic District.

Third, on the Covid front, we were down 50% of daily infections from the Omicron peak two weeks ago. However, there are still upwards of 20 thousand people testing positive every day, so, returning to a familiar theme, we have to remain vigilant to stay safe.

I suggest you keep reading past my signature. No matter what you choose to do, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
