I hope this email finds you well on this frigid Friday. We’ve got a fair amount happening over the coming week, both directly in and near the CB6 orbit, so I’ll do my best to summarize.

I hope this email finds you well on this frigid Friday. We’ve got a fair amount happening over the coming week, both directly in and near the CB6 orbit, so I’ll do my best to summarize.

For one, this Sunday, January 23rd, is the final day for idea submissions to Participatory Budgeting. While on Monday, January 24th, as we’ve supported, the NYC ferry will begin year-round and weekday service to Governors Island from Red Hook as part of the South Brooklyn NYC Ferry route. Also, on Monday the 24th, our Permits & Licenses Committee will meet at 6:30 pm. There’s a Discretionary Funding Application Workshop for non-profit organizations looking for funding from the New York City Council on Monday as well. Later next week, on Thursday, January 27th, our Landmarks/ Land Use Committee will meet.

There are more items of interest that I’ve listed below, and I recommend checking them out. For example, the Park Slope Civic Council Community Grant Application is now open.

Whether you check those other items out or not, stay safe, stay warm, and have a great weekend.

Best,
