Permits & Licenses Meeting Tonight
I hope this email finds you well as we kick off the week with some snow and sun. I’ll be brief with a few reminders.
I hope this email finds you well as we kick off the week with some snow and sun. I’ll be brief with a few reminders.
First, tonight’s Permits & Licenses (P&L) Committee meeting, 6:30 pm over Zoom, is one of two CB6 committee meetings we have this week. The committee will review two new on-premises liquor license applications. One license is for 272 3rd Avenue, while the other is for 244 Flatbush Avenue. Please note that all of our meetings are open to the public, and if you’d like to attend, click here or go to:bit.ly/Jan24CB6Liquor.
The second CB6 meeting of the week will be on Thursday, January 27th, when our Landmarks/Land Use (LMLU) Committee meets over Zoom at 6:30 pm. The agenda consists of 2 “Certificates of Appropriateness“ applications. You may register to attend by clicking here or going to: bit.ly/Jan27LMLUCB6
The next step for the items being reviewed by P&L and LMU this week will be a vote at our full board meeting in about two weeks on Wednesday, February 9th. Like the committees mentioned above, the full board starts at 6:30 pm and takes place on Zoom. If that interests you, like the nearly 30 folks, who have already done so, register by clicking here or going to bit.ly/Feb9CB6.
There’s a lot more stuff happening this week not under the umbrella of CB6 that are listed below my signature, so I’d recommend checking those out ASAP. For example, tomorrow, Tuesday January 25th, Councilmember Lincoln Restler will be giving out free Covid Tests and masks at Wyckoff Gardens from 4:30 until 6 PM while at 6:30 pm, there’s a Red Hook East Residents Association meeting at 167 Bush Street.
Whether you check those other items out or not, stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the rest of your day.
