First, before any recaps, a reminder that tonight, at 6:30 PM, the Parks Departments will hold a meeting updating the community on the Red Hook Ballfields. It’s a virtual meeting, and you can register by going to: on.nyc.gov/3oSDkE8.

Secondly, if you missed, or want to relive, last night's CB6 Parks & Environmental Protection Committee meeting, watch it on our YouTube page at:bit.ly/cb6parksyoutube. Also, you can see the slide presentation given by Commissioner Maher during the meeting by going to: bit.ly/parksslides216. Before moving on, I'd like to thank Councilmember Lincoln Restler for attending last night's meeting and Environmental Protection Co-Chair Angelica Ramdhari for running the zoom while her corporeal self was in a different time zone. While zoom is hardly perfect, the ability to attend and help run a meeting from a distance increases some aspects of accessibility.

Third, while I previously mentioned Monday's EWCDH meeting, please note that a week from today, on Thursday, February 24th at 6:30 PM, our Landmarks/ Land Use Committee will meet. The agenda will consist of 5 items in total. Those five items are a BSA application, one ULURP, and three certificates of Appropriateness from LPC applications.

Other items are listed below my contact information, and I’d recommend checking them out. Those items include meetings, job listings, and civic opportunities that could be beneficial. However, whether you believe they are worth it or not, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
