I hope this email finds you well on this palindromic Tuesday that feels like a Monday. I’d like to highlight a few civic items for the week ahead.

EWCDH met last night, and our Landmarks Committee will meet on Thursday. Between those 2 CB 6 meetings, the Gowanus CAG and the 78th Precinct Community Council have their monthly meetings tonight, Tuesday, February 22nd. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 23rd, the Gowanus Dredgers will hold their annual meeting while Council Member Lincoln Restler will hold a panel discussion about Community Boards called Community Boards 101. Since I’m on Lincoln’s panel, I’m biased, but I think it will be informative for those considering getting involved with or applying to a Community Board.

I could go on, but there are many items listed below my contact information, and I’d recommend checking them out. Those items include more meetings, job listings, and civic opportunities that could be beneficial. However, whether you believe any of them are beneficial or not, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
