I hope this email finds you well on this Thursday that has, in stark contrast with yesterday, a Winter Weather Advisory in effect due to the possibility of between one to three inches of snow. Thus, Alternate Side Parking Regulations will be suspended tomorrow, Friday, February 25th, while parking meters will remain in effect. The weather advisory goes into effect at 10 pm tonight and will remain in place until 1 pm tomorrow.

Three and a half hours prior to the advisory going into effect, at 6:30 PM, our Landmarks/ Land Use Committee will meet over zoom. As mentioned previously, the agenda has five items on it. One item is a ULURP at 41 Summit Street; another is a BSA application for 218 Hamilton Avenue. The other three are applications for Certificates of Appropriateness, one in the Cobble Hill historic district, another in the Carroll Gardens historic district, and the last one in the Park Slope Historic District.

Tonight’s meeting is the second and final CB6 committee meeting for this week. Next week, just like this week, we have meetings on Monday and Thursday. First, Permits and Licenses will review five liquor license applications on Monday, Feb 28th. Then, on Thursday, March 3rd, DOT will update our Transportation and Public Safety committee on the BQE. Both meetings will be held over zoom and begin at 6:30 PM.

Before my usual recommendation to check out the items below my contact info, I have to thank Council Member Lincoln Restler and his team for hosting last night's Community Board 101 discussion. It was great to be part of it with folks from Brooklyn Boards 1, 2, and 3 and everyone who attended.
