I hope this email finds you well on this 26th Day of April. I have three items to highlight, followed by a standard suggestion.
I hope this email finds you well on this 26th Day of April. I have three items to highlight, followed by a standard suggestion.
First, as you may have heard, Mayor Adams gave his first "State of the City” address. During it, he unveiled his Executive Budget. The Executive Budget features a little more than a 1% increase from the Preliminary Budget released in February. Unfortunately, I have not read over the latest details, but this proposal isn’t set in stone regardless of any initial opinions. The budget that will be “set in stone” must be agreed on by the Mayor and City Council by July 1st.
Secondly, a heads up that tonight will see a lot of civic activity. The Gowanus CAG, CEC 15, and the 78th Precinct Community Council have meetings tonight.
Third, Covid infections are still happening. The best way to stay safe is to be vaccinated, boosted, and if eligible, double boosted. Make your appointment by clicking here or by going to https://vax4nyc.nyc.gov/.
More items are listed below my contact information. I suggest you check them out but stay safe and no matter what you decide to do, enjoy it.
