I've been under the weather and will use my absence and experience as an opportunity to remind you to get vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19. Schedule your appointment by going to vax4nyc.nyc.gov. I have one reminder to highlight before recommending you read past my contact information.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8th, at 6:30 pm, we’ll hold our June Full Board Meeting over Zoom. Register for the meeting by going to bit.ly/June8BKCB6.The agenda will focus on three motions from our CB6 Landmarks/Land Use (LMLU) Committee.

From the LU side of the committee, there’s a motion to disapprove a rezoning and special permit on 9th Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenue. The other two items are motions to approve applications for Certificates of Appropriateness ("C of A"). One of those two allows for installing visible railings at the roof and replacing existing leaded glass windows on the front facade at 121-123 6th Avenue in the Park Slope Historic District. The other would allow for installing a new, black steel rear deck with a glass canopy at 483 Henry Street in the Cobble Hill Historic District.

If you read past my contact information, you’ll find a lot is happening across our community in the near future. regardless of your thoughts on that future, enjoy the rest of your day.

Best,
Mike Racioppo, District Manager
