I hope this email finds you well on this pleasant fourteenth day of June. I have two reminders and an announcement to highlight.
I hope this email finds you well on this pleasant fourteenth day of June. I have two reminders and an announcement to highlight.
One reminder is that Borough President Reynoso will hold a virtual ULURP hearing tonight. I mention it because it’s the next stage of the ULURP process for the ninth street rezoning, which we approved last week. The other reminder is that tomorrow at 6:30 PM over Zoom; our Parks Committee will meet regarding whether to officially designate Upper Van Voorhees as a Dog Park.
The announcement is that a week from today, on Tuesday, June 21st, our Transporation & Public Safety Committee will meet. The purpose of the meeting will be to have the Department of Transportation provide some short-term updates regarding the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE). However, I’d venture to say we’ll be hearing and meeting more on the BQE in the months, and years, ahead.
More information can be found by scrolling down this email. However, whether you scroll or not, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
