As I write this, a heat advisory is still in effect while a tornado and thunderstorms are on the table. There have been some power outages in our community due to the weather.

As I write this, a heat advisory is still in effect while a tornado and thunderstorms are on the table. There have been some power outages in our community due to the weather. Hopefully, you haven't experienced an outage but if you have, report it to ConEd by calling (800)75-CONED or going to ConEd.com/reportoutage.

However, the weather hasn't slowed our community. For example, at 6:30 tonight, Comptroller Lander & Council Member Aviles are holding a roundtable at the Red Hook Initiative focused on NYCHA accountability. While later in the week, you can have coffee with various elected officials- Lincoln Restler on Wednesday & Jo Anne Simon on Thursday. Our CB6 Landmarks/Land Use Committee will also meet on Thursday. It will be on Zoom at 6:30 PM.
