I hope this email finds you well as we close out September and wait for October with umbrellas in hand.

I hope this email finds you well as we close out September and wait for October with umbrellas in hand.

If the unintentional reference to a Rihana song didn’t make it clear, it's expected we will experience some heavy rain and wind this weekend. That expectation has led to a weather advisory being effect, and some things, such as Van Alen’s Block Party, have been postponed.

Therefore, I’d recommend confirming anything I’ve listed below with the event organizers. Looking a bit past the weekend, I’ll confirm that Thursday’s CB6 Landmark/Land Use meeting is happening in person at 250 Baltic. Also, regardless of rain, this coming Wednesday, October 5, in observance of Yom Kippur, public schools will be closed, and alternate side parking will be suspended

I think you should keep reading, but even if you don’t, have a great weekend, and see you in October.

Best,
