First, to those celebrating Yom Kippur, may you have a meaningful & easy fast, G'mar Chatima Tovah. Even if you're not celebrating, note that alternate side parking will be suspended, and public schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5th.
Secondly, this Thursday, October 6th, at 6:30 PM, the CB6 Landmark/Land Use (LMLU) Committee will meet at 250 Baltic Street in person. The agenda will consist of 3 applications to the Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC)- 2 in the Park Slope Historic District and 1 in the Carroll Gardens Historic District. After our LMLU Committee votes, these applications will be voted on at our next full board meeting. The next Full Board meeting will be Wednesday, October 12th, at the Van Alen Institute, beginning at 6:30 PM.
If an attempt at the community board equivalent of School House has you wanting more civics, I recommend you read past my contact info. If not, no problem, and enjoy the rest of your gray Tuesday.
