Happy Holidays!
Today may be Festivus, but I’m not airing any grievances in this email; I’ll stick with civics as a cold Christmas weekend begins.

Christmas is Sunday, December 25th; as such, it’ll be observed on Monday, December 26th. What’s “observed” mean in this context? It means that on Monday, government offices are closed, there will be no sanitation service, no mail, alternate side parking, and parking meter will be suspended, and schools will be closed. Public schools are on winter recess and are closed through January 2nd, while the other entities mentioned return on Tuesday, December 27th.
I’ll stop here and wish everyone celebrating a very Merry Christmas. No matter what, or whether you celebrate, stay safe, stay warm, and have a great weekend.
