I thought I’d scheduled this to be sent over 6 hours ago, but as much as I’d like to blame Constant Contact, it was my mistake. Fortunately, the content isn’t super time-sensitive for Friday.

I thought I’d scheduled this to be sent over 6 hours ago, but as much as I’d like to blame Constant Contact, it was my mistake. Fortunately, the content isn’t super time-sensitive for Friday. We’re closing out a week that included our February Full Board meeting, and look ahead to a week with two committee meetings. 

We approved three liquor licenses, two landmarks, and 1 Land Use item at the full board meeting. We were joined by officials from our federal, state, and city governments and were given a heads-up from DSNY regarding commercial containerization, and a community member let us know about a cool way to recycle paint.

Looking to the week ahead, On Monday, February 26th, our Permits & Licenses Committee will review applications for five new liquor licenses, while on Wednesday, February 28th, our Parks Committee will review plans for an elevator at the Old Stone House. Both meetings will be held in person at 250 Baltic Street and begin at 6:30 PM.
