About This District
Queens Community District 3 Queens Community District 3 encompasses Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, and North Corona. Covering 2.8 square miles and home to more than 180,000 residents, it sits in northern Queens north of Roosevelt Avenue.
It is one of the city's most diverse and densely used residential districts, with apartment buildings, small homes, immigrant commercial corridors, schools, and heavy transit use.
