Brooklyn Community District 14 encompasses Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington, and Ocean Parkway. Covering 3.9 square miles and home to more than 160,000 residents, it covers central Brooklyn neighborhoods with strong residential density, subway access, and major commercial corridors.

Flatbush, Midwood, Kensington, and Ocean Parkway include apartment buildings, rowhouses, institutions, schools, and houses of worship serving many overlapping communities.
